First Floor

AXA’s first floor features a large meeting space, a brothers’ study room (The Tube Room), and a brothers’ lounge (The Ryerson). The front room is used for Beach Party, discussions, and house-wide dinners, as well as for performances by campus student groups. There are also couches, a pool table, and a foosball table. Class portraits dating back to 1963 adorn the Tube Room walls. The Ryerson houses a flat-screen television, entertainment system, and library. The room is named in honor of the late former Alpha Chi Rho President Tim Ryerson ’59. Thanks to an anonymous donation in Spring 2014, we have installed a collection of chalices dating to the early 1980s in the Ryerson.
